Summary

Over a stretch of 14 years, I built and ran businesses in the sports apparel, memorabilia, collectibles, toys, and sporting goods industries.  The e-commerce companies I created sold over 400,000 products online via 10 custom built e-commerce websites and 6 marketplace stores.  As the owner of the company and the only web developer, I ran each of these businesses and developed all of the websites. The company closed in July 2014.

Highlights

• Created and managed an e-commerce company w/ hundreds of thousands of customers.
• Managed all business operations & ran a staff of 3-10 people based on seasonality & volume
• Responsible for performance, scalability, security, architecture, and data flow of all company systems.
• Ran a popular sports marketing based internship program for the company which created opportunities for over 50 college-aged students interested in a career in sports and online retail.
• Speaker at the IRCC Internet Retailer conference as an expert on Website Redesign (2/13).
• Coordinated product data inventory feeds with over 200 vendors and marketplaces.
• Setup and managed stores on various online marketplaces including:
  Amazon, Amazon Canada, eBay, Sears, Rakuten, Rakuten Japan, Best Buy, and New Egg.
