Summary

Digital Broadcast Corporation (DBC) created a digital alternative to cable television.  The main premise of the business was a digital wireless system with state of the art hardware, that was cheaper to build than laying down large amounts of cable in remote areas of the country.

When I was working there, they had a working system in Roanoke, Virginia.  I worked as a technical operations executive for them in 2002 and assisted them with technical and investor related activities.  This was my first job after college and my first exposure to a “start up” environment.

Highlights

Helped with business and managerial level strategies with the company’s CEO.
Was the primary assistant to the CEO and COO.
Responsible for all technical operations within the office and explaining technical details to investors.
